DGYL WINTER PROGRAMS

WINTER K-2nd INDOOR SKILLS & GAMES

For girls in grades K thru 2nd, this program is designed for kids who may be new to lacrosse or those who want to continue developing those key lacrosse fundamentals. The girls will be split into grade-level groups to have maximum amounts of fun while building their confidence! 

WINTER 3rd/4th INDOOR SKILLS & SCRIMMAGES

Our 3rd and 4th graders will focus on fundamentals through fun skills stations and weekly intramural scrimmages. Our goal is to improve each player’s knowledge of positions, rules, and game-play skills (catching, passing with both hands, fielding ground balls, shooting, footwork). The girls will have lots of fun playing with and against their friends, and the scrimmages will help prepare them for the Spring travel season!

WINTER 5th/6th INDOOR SKILLS & LEAGUE

DGYL is excited to offer our 5th-6th graders a fun and relaxed opportunity to play indoor lacrosse against other Duxbury players. This in-house and inter-town league will emphasize fun and provide an opportunity to play lacrosse with friends while improving skills for the Spring Season. Girls will be divided into balanced teams at the beginning of the season. Every week, each team will spend 40 minutes on skills and 40 minutes scrimmaging an in-house team. Each week we will invite a different group of girls to participate in the inter-town scrimmage. We encourage both new and seasoned players to participate. 

WINTER 7th/8th INDOOR LEAGUE

DGYL is once again excited to offer our 7th and 8th graders a fun and relaxed opportunity to play indoor lacrosse against players from Duxbury and other towns. Girls will be divided into balanced teams of 8-10 girls for small sided-sided weekly games. Each team will either play a head to head in-house match-up or an inter-town scrimmage culminating with one week of playoffs to crown the Queens of WILL (Winter Indoor Lax League)! Once teams are assigned, a more detailed schedule will be released.
