CLASSIC LEAGUE- GRADES 3-8

Our traditional town or Classic Program welcomes all players! Our goal is to introduce the game to new players while also further developing the skills of our more experienced players in a fun environment that emphasizes teamwork and sportsmanship. The Classic League is an 8-game season plus an end of the season Jamboree. Your daughter will be assigned to an evenly balanced team based on grade, skill, and experience. There are no "A" and "B" teams in the Classic League. To learn more about the Classic League, click here.

PRACTICE
3rd-8th grade teams will practice twice per week. The season begins in mid-March and will end in mid-June.

GAME DAYS
Sunday Games (3rd-8th): 4/7, 4/14, 4/21, 4/28, 5/5, 5/12, 5/19, 6/2
Jamboree (5th-8th): Saturday 6/8 in Devens, MA
Jamboree (3rd-4th): Saturday 6/15 in Devens, MA

MULTI-SPORT ATHLETES
DGYL feels strongly about supporting our multi-sport athletes, so if your daughter is questioning whether or not to play because of potential conflicts, please know that we accommodate game switches. What does that mean? We have multiple teams at each grade level, so if your daughter's scheduled game time conflicts with another sport, we will allow her to jump to another team's game. Any other type of conflict will be handled on a case-by-case basis.

FEES
-3-8 Grade: $215 + MYL Fee

-MYL Membership Fee: 3rd-8th- $40 (Mass Youth Lacrosse provides yearly insurance for each player.To learn about the annual MYL fee, click here.) *For those of you who participated in Winter Skills/League, we will send you a discount code so that you don’t pay the MYL membership fee again. Please do not share this code with others. Every player is responsible for paying this fee once per year.

-3 or More Sibling Discount: $50

GOALIES
Goalies play for free! If your daughter is interested in playing full-time goalie, please reach out to us and we will send you a separate registration link.

IN-HOUSE GRADES K-2

Our K-2 program runs on Friday afternoons in the spring. The K-2 Program focuses on introducing girls lacrosse in an environment that emphasizes FUN while developing basic fundamentals, teamwork, and sportsmanship.1st & 2nd graders will also be introduced to game-play during our in-house league.

FEES
-K-2 Grade: $110 + MYL Fee

SELECT LEAGUE- GRADES 5-8

The Select League is an additional playing opportunity for the more experienced and committed 7/8th grade and 5/6th grade players. Games are played on Friday nights. The MYL Select Lacrosse program has division standings, playoffs, championships, and an All-Star game at the end of the season. In order to try out for a Select team, your daughter MUST be registered to play in our Classic League as well. Registration for the Select League will not open until March. TRYOUTS
Tryouts will be held in Mid-March at the Duxplex.

4/5, 4/12, 4/19, 4/26, 5/3, 5/10, 5/17

PLAYOFFS
Playoff play will begin after 5/17. Exact schedule TBD

FEE
$75 (includes one Select Team practice per week for the spring season, 7 weeks of in-season games, and a playoff tournament at the end of the season)
